An original stereoview depicting the historic Königstuhl (King’s Chair) near Rhense on the Rhine River. This medieval stone structure, partly reconstructed in the 19th century, was the site where German kings were traditionally elected. The image shows the arched monument with its prominent stairways, and several gentlemen posed in front of the site.
