Adolphe Braun (1812–1877) was a pioneering French photographer based in Dornach, Alsace (Haut-Rhin).
He became renowned for his floral studies and large-scale Alpine landscapes.
Braun established one of the most important photographic studios of the 19th century, producing stereoviews, art reproductions, and topographic series.
His work was internationally distributed and admired for technical quality and artistic composition.
