This fine carte de visite dates to around 1867/1870 and shows the “Dombrücke”, the railway bridge crossing the river Rhine in the Germany city of Cologne (Köln). On the bridge is a steam locomotive of the Köln-Mindener railways. The bridge was destroyed by the allied bombings of Cologne in 1945.
