Carte de visite (CDV) of the photographic studio of  A.E. Alden in the Arcade in Providence, Rhode Island, USA circa 1860 
 
Augustus Ephraim Alden (1837-1914) had 4 studio rooms in the Arcade, the first shopping centre in the USA.  The CDV shows the inside of the Arcade with banners and flags advertising the services of mr Alden which included ambrotypes and tintypes. "Patent pictures and machinery, homemade and finished in 10 minutes. Only 50 cts."
