Description:
Original hand-colored stereoview depicting the Salon Particulier de l’Impératrice in the Palais de Compiègne. The elegant interior features upholstered chairs and a table arranged on a green and purple carpet, with a large chandelier hanging from the ceiling. The rear wall is adorned with an elaborate painted panel and a console displaying decorative vases and porcelain figures. The mount is blind-stamped “COMPIÈGNE” along the left edge. The reverse bears a printed label reading “PALAIS IMPÉRIAL DE COMPIÈGNE,” identifying the room.
