A early view taken with a single lens camera of the St Eustache in Paris. The view was taken from the Rue Rambuteau, on the right hand side is the Rue Montmartre. It took the photographer rather long to move the camera: in the image on the right hand side a horse and cart appears which is not visible in the image on the left. 

Albumen print mounted on thin card.

Dating to c. 1855
