Original hand-colored stereoview depicting an ornate interior at the Château de Fontainebleau. The image shows a richly decorated fireplace surmounted by a gilded relief and framed medallion, with carved figures and elaborate moldings. In the adjoining room, a crystal chandelier, framed paintings, and furniture upholstered in pink fabric are visible. The mount is blind-stamped “Fontainebleau” along the left edge.
