Description:
Original hand-colored stereoview showing the ornate Salle du Conseil (Council Room) in the Palais de Versailles. The richly decorated interior features gilded wall panels, large mirrors, and an elaborate chandelier. A round table covered in green fabric and red-upholstered chairs complete the elegant arrangement. The left mount is blind-stamped "VERSAILLES," while the reverse bears a printed label reading "PALAIS IMPÉRIAL DE VERSAILLES" with handwritten identification of the room.
